The Craft

They believe that great, long-lasting design comes from a joint effort. Their shoemaking process starts in their design studio in Varberg, Sweden. Get inspired by their story of skills, passion and quality – their craft, as they are shoemakers.

The Choice

Throughout the design process, they carefully select materials with great respect for people, the environment, and the planet. They strive to improve and find sustainable substitutes for each of their products. Their starting point is leather from LWG-certified tanneries, chrome-free tanned inner soles, and their textile linings which are all in either organic GOTS-certified cotton, recycled polyester, or Tencel™.

The Care

At Vagabond, they strive to make conscious choices in the materials they use, enabling them to create the least possible environmental impact.

The Change

What motivates them at Vagabond, is being able to share their efforts with external initiatives needed to drive sustainable development forward. In other words, supporting organisations that operate for both people and the planet in areas other than their own. Each year, they donate an amount to charity organisations around the world, focusing their efforts on vital areas within the pillars of Health, Environment & Climate and Young & Exposed.
